Cake Flavours
Vanilla
A light vanilla sponge, paired with smooth vanilla buttercream. Simple, balanced and a favourite for all occasions.
Chocolate Fudge
A moist chocolate sponge with depth of flavour, filled with chocolate buttercream for a classic, indulgent finish that isn't overly sweet.
Carrot
A gently spiced carrot sponge with warmth and moisture, paired with vanilla buttercream for a well-balanced flavour.
Red Velvet
A soft cocoa sponge with a subtle tang, layered with vanilla buttercream for a smooth, elegant finish.
Lemon
A light lemon sponge filled with lemon buttercream, offering a fresh, zesty flavour that's especially popular for spring and summer celebrations.
Coffee
A coffee-infused sponge with a rounded, aromatic flavour, paired with coffee buttercream for a refined, grown-up option.
Ordering Times
Please get in touch as early as possible. I often book up around six weeks in advance, particularly for weekend celebrations, so it's never too early to enquire.
I recommend a minimum of 3 weeks' notice for all bespoke cakes (subject to availability). Every cake is individually designed, so I need time to discuss your ideas, prepare your quotation, source any decorations or specialist equipment, and schedule the work involved. Many handcrafted decorations and models need to be made well in advance and are often started up to two weeks before your collection date.
Smaller gift cakes may occasionally be available at shorter notice, but this is entirely dependent on my availability and the design required.
Allergies
Please note that my cakes are made in an environment where nuts, eggs, milk, gluten and other allergens are present. As cakes are prepared in a home kitchen where these allergens are handled, I cannot guarantee that any cake is completely allergen free.
For this reason, I am unable to accommodate requests for allergen-free cakes. If you have a food allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease, please do speak to me about the ingredients in your cake before placing your order.
Pricing
If you've never ordered a bespoke cake before, you may not know what to expect in terms of cost. I'm always happy to provide a personalised quotation, but if you have a budget in mind, please let me know from the outset. This helps me suggest design options that are both achievable and within your budget.
As a guide, an 8-inch round fondant-covered cake serving approximately 22 people starts from £115.
Collecting Your Cake
Transporting your cake home can feel a little daunting, but I've put together some helpful advice on transporting your cake safely, which you can find here.
Your Order
If there is anything you're unsure about during the ordering process, please do ask. Ordering a bespoke cake can feel overwhelming if you've never done it before.
Please take a moment to check that the description on your order confirmation accurately reflects the design we've agreed, as this is what I will work from when creating your cake. I'm always happy to make changes before I begin making your cake to ensure it's exactly what you have in mind.
