I've always loved baking, and when my children came along, decorating their birthday cakes became a passion. With practice and training, I began making cakes for friends and family. Their encouragement led me to start my own business, and in June 2017, Piece of Cake by Clare was born. I’ve never looked back!

​

What started with children's birthday cakes has since expanded to cakes for baby showers, christenings, milestone birthdays, and other special occasions.  In 2024, I launched Piece of Cake by Clare Cake Classes, offering cake decorating sessions for all skill levels. My goal is to help you perfect your fondant or buttercream skills while adding special decorative touches to create a true masterpiece.

I live in Ascot, Berkshire, with my two sons and husband, and I run Piece of Cake by Clare around my family life. I cover Ascot, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Bracknell, Windsor, and the surrounding areas.
